Gold allows for that to happen, and for more intricate designs than titanium as it is easier for jewellers to work with and achieve those designs.

We stock jewellery in yellow gold, rose gold and white gold, to suit everyone's style.



Gold isn't for everyone, so if you have a sensitivity it's important to be careful and to ask questions, but this is why we still use high quality, internally threaded, implant grade, titanium posts to be worn inside your body. We make an effort to work with companies who produce nickel free, biocompatible gold - such as Maria Tash!  

Good quality gold is worth every (gold) penny! Cheap gold is just that...cheap. We do not stock 9 karat gold in the studio at all. 9 karat gold has no business calling itself gold, the percentage of gold within it is so low, that the content is far more other materials than gold...which isn't safe to wear inside your body. We only work with 14, 18 and 24 karat gold to ensure that the jewellery you are wearing stands the test of time!


As you can see from the diagram, 14kt gold and upwards are more than 50% gold content, over half of the materials used are gold, which makes them worth your money!

Daith Piercings: Super Cool Piercing or Miracle Migraine Cure?

Short Answer: Both. Don't get us wrong, we aren't offering daith piercings as a cure to anything - we aren't doctors and we are not going to give anyone false hope, but we see a lot of people have success with their migraines after a daith piercing. The Science Bit - currently there is no scientific evidence to suggest daith piercings are connected in anyway to your headaches or migraines. No studies have been conducted so there are no proven scientific results. However, a quick google search and you will see hundreds of results from people claiming it worked for them- and this is echoed in what clients feedback to us. So even though there is no solid scientific studies or evidence, who are we to take anything away from anyone if they are getting some relief from something as awful as migraines? Am I Ready For My New Piercing?

This week we want to talk to you about preparing for your piercing, to help you know what to expect, but to also help you be as ready as possible for the piercing to make healing and looking after it as smooth as possible, and to make the whole process as pain free as possible! 1.
